Rita was another of our WHS 70+ "high school sweethearts" along with her husband Andy ('42). She was the Quality Assurance Inspector at Central States Cans and an avid Tigers, Browns, and Indians fan along with anything her grandchildren did.

The Washington High School Alumni Association is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2020 Distinguished Citizens Award. This award is given annually to graduates of Washington High School who have achieved local, national, and/or international success in their chosen career fields. 65th Class Reunion - Class of 1953
We had our 65th Class Reunion on September 29, 2018.
Sixty classmates were in attendance. Jim Allison from Fairfax, VA, served as the emcee. Massillon themed centerpieces were made by Peg Dottavio.
A great time was had for all and the 70th reunion is planned for 2023!!

In Memoriam: Fall 2016
The passing of the following alumni has been reported to the Alumni Association office:
John Nicewander '33
John was one of our oldest alums at age 102. He worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930's. He attempted, with his son's assistance, to contact all his surviving classmates for a "paper reunion" while in his early 90's.
