Vogt Honored for Service to State Swim Program

Joel Vogt was honored at the state swimming championship meet in Canton for serving 50 years as an official and 36 years as a state meet official.
He has now retired from officiating and from his roles as commissioner of the Northeast Ohio Aquatics Association and the Country Club Swim League.
He was MVP for the WHS Tiger Sharks for the 1964-1965 season.

Tiger Swing Band's 85th Anniversary
On September 8, the Massillon Bands, under the direction of Jason Neel, celebrated the 85th season since George Bird initiated the show-band style in 1938. Approximately 220 alumni joined in on the field alongside the current Siwng Band for one impressive showing of support for the band program and nostalgia for what it has meant.
