Joel Vogt was honored at the state swimming championship meet in Canton for serving 50 years as an official and 36 years as a state meet official. He has now retired from officiating and from his roles as commissioner of the Northeast Ohio Aquatics Association and the Country Club Swim League. He was MVP for the WHS Tiger Sharks for the 1964-1965 season.
