Board of Trustees Member Passes
The Washington High School Alumni Association Board of Trustees, along with many in the Massillon Tiger athletic boosters and his Class of 1957, were saddened by the unexpected passing of Robert "Bob" Antonille. He was an enthusiastic member of the alumni board offering many suggestions and questions, all along the lines of improving alumni connections. His presence at our board meetings will be greatly missed.
Bob's term on the board doesn't expire until May of 2020, but will be left open in his memory and in honor of the fact that no one can replace him.
Board Member Completes Term
Don Rohr ('69) has completed his third consecutive three-year term as a member of the board of trustees and according to the bylaws he must now step away for at least one year. Don has been a steady member of the board and through his connections with the Massillon Lions Club we have been able to maintain our relationship with this other valued Massillon organization.
New and Youngest Board Member
Frank Hill ('18) has been appointed to a vacant board seat. Frank was president of the student council at WHS as well as a candidate for Outstanding Senior Boy. His fame with his classmates will be rememberd through his role in the Tiger Swing Band. Frank will bring a fresh, current perspective of student life at WHS to the alumni board.
