Sorry for this being such short notice, but we are trying something very different than in the past. We will be holding our 45th reunion with the 61st year of the Massillon Shriners Ox Roast. This will be an outdoor event - very casual, and there will be a separate tent for our group at the event. There will be onsite parking, but also overflow parking at Moffitt Heights Grade School with a shuttle to bring you to the Oaks and return you to your vehicle when needed. There will be plenty of signs directing you to the school.
We are supporting the Massillon Shriners and making it very simple for the reunion committee. The Shriners will run a 50/50 that night that we can take part in, they also sell tip boards for various things as part of their fund raising for the evening.
The menu for the evening will be slow pit roasted seasoned beef, baked potato with butter and sour cream, rolls, fresh cut veggies, and local fresh picked (that morning) sweet corn. Included with the cost of the ticket is 6 drink tickets - draft beer, margaritas, wine, and mixed drinks. There will be soda and coffee also. The food is fantastic, and it will be more than you can eat. The meat is a single serving (which will be huge), but you can have all the corn and veggies you want.
We would like to do a few raffle baskets, for our class benefiting from the ticket sales. The other people attending the event will be permitted to take part in the purchasing of the tickets for these. There will be a check in table to pick up pre-paid tickets at the front door of the club that night, this is to save on mailing costs. Mail checks to:

There is a free concert down town Massillon on Aug 3rd, with LaFlavour playing that evening. We would like to get together at the concert - bring a chair and visit with everyone.
We have lost a couple more classmates to date, the total is 46 as of this writing that we are sure of. We still have about 150 on the missing list that we are trying to verify addresses. Just final thoughts - no one cares about gray hair, wrinkles, or weight gained - it's about getting together and sharing the evening.
