A: Playing sports and making memories with teammates and friends.

Q: What have you gone on to achieve since graduation (career, education, military service, community involvement, etc.)?
A: I attended Hiram College and graduated in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Communication. I’ve worked for Stark County Job and Family Services, where I conducted forensic interviews at the CAC, as well as in the Canton Municipal Court system. I also served as a Director of Social Services in a nursing facility, and I am currently the Victims Assistance Director in Holmes County. I recently got married to my wife in Siesta Key, Florida, and we are foster parents with two spoiled fur babies.

A: I’m most proud of continuously being a kind person and giving back to the community. While at Hiram College, making the Dean’s List my senior year was also a huge accomplishment for me.

Q: How did your time at Massillon help prepare you for life after high school?
A: My time at Massillon helped me become a well-organized student-athlete, which prepared me for college where I played two sports while carrying a full course load.

Q: What advice would you give to current Tigers?
A: “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.” That quote always stuck with me from Coach Darcy Huffman.

Q: Is there anything else you’d like to share with fellow alumni?
A: Be proud of where you came from and where you are today.
