It’s time for another Alumni Spotlight! This week, we wanted to feature a BIG Tiger fan — Isaiah Zinn, Class of 2019! Check out his story below.


Q: What year did you graduate from Massillon Washington High School?
A: 2019
Q: What activities, clubs, or sports were you involved in during your time at WHS?
A: Football team (as an equipment manager) 2017 and 2018. Village Idiot 2018. I also helped with the yearly musical in February all four years.
Q: What is one of your favorite memories from your high school years?
A: The 2017 Massillon vs. McKinley Game and being on the field to watch the final goal line stand as McKinley threatened but the wind prevented their game-winning field goal.
Helping with the construction trade program when the pavilion near the automotive class was being built in the fall of 2017.
Q: What have you gone on to achieve since graduation?
A: Currently working at Walmart as a maintenance person in addition to running my own small business selling used power equipment.
Q: What accomplishment are you most proud of?
A: Being able to graduate high school in National Honors Society.
Q: How did your time at Massillon help prepare you for life after high school?
A: My time at Massillon helped me mature into the man I am today by helping me grow up and experience different things.
Q: What advice would you give to current Tigers?
A: To stay focused and get your education. Also, anyone is capable of doing what they set their mind to. Don’t let anything hold you back — any disability or otherwise.
