We’re excited to feature Carl Gatewood in this week’s Alumni Spotlight! From cheering on the Tigers as a football water boy to finding his passion for music through choir, Carl’s story is a great reminder of how our high school experiences can shape who we become.


Q: What activities, clubs, or sports were you involved in during your time at WHS?
A: Choir and was a water boy 03-05 for the football team.
Q: What is one of your favorite memories from your high school years?
A: State game.
Q: What have you gone on to achieve since graduation (career, education, military service, community involvement, etc.)?
A: I am in college for music production currently.
Q: What accomplishment are you most proud of?
A: My family.
Q: How did your time at Massillon help prepare you for life after high school?
A: Choir specifically helped show me I have a love for music.
Q: What advice would you give to current Tigers?
A: Never give up on your dreams.
