Rev. James Lawson ('46)
This past spring, our nation lost a civil rights veteran and US Congressman in John Lewis. One of the speakers at his nationally televised funeral service was the Reverend James Lawson from the Class of 1946.
Rev. Lawson speech was so powerful it was mentioned on the national newscasts later that same evening. Rev. Lawson also mention in his eulogy growing up in Massillon.
